A panoramic tour

Verona by car or by bus  is a panoramic guided tour for tourists who, for different reasons, prefer not to walk, or simply want to enjoy the city from another point of view, just sitting and looking confortably the panorama.

Along the Adige river

You’ll meet your guide at the bus parking Piazzale del Cimitero and proceed though the ancient gates of Verona. You’ll drive along Porta Nuova, Porta Palio, Porta San Zeno, visit San Zeno Church a masterpiece of the XII century.  Drive along the river Adige enjoying a marvellous view over Castelvecchio fortress, Ponte della Vittoria, Sant George Church, the complex of the Cathedral and Trento Gate.

On the hills

After the ancient walls you’ll reach the panoramic point on the Torricelle hills and here you’ll have a 20/30 minuts break to enjoy the incredible view over the city. Here you can visit the Sanctuary Santa Maria of Lourdes, or simply  sit in front of an italian cappuccino on the terrace of the cafeteria.

You’ll proceed down to the city driving through the hills among olive plantations, vineyards and fortresses. You’ll reach the area of the Roman Theatre and Ponte Pietra, Roman Bridge. Visit the church of Santa maria in Organo with the fabulous intarsia and wood carvings. After driving for a while again along the river Adige yo’ll conclude your panoramic tour ” Verona by car or by bus”  where you started it.
